Wikipedia defines consommé: “In cooking, a consommé is a type of clear soup made from richly flavored stock or bouillon that has been clarified usually through a fining process involving egg protein.”

Consommé is also the past particple of the French verb consommer–in English: to consume.
By media, I am referring to books, movies, television, music, art, anything that serve to drive the senses to delight or despair or something–anything, really, but the absence of reaction.
Basically, I consume media, and I write about it, here. I like to think of Media Consommé as a nice blended soup with all sorts of media mixed in for different flavors and textures. A bit of onion, a bit of literature, some chunks of film, etc.

I love LA. My happiest days traveling included a sunset horseback gallop through Griffith Park then dancing to live blues at Harvelle’s. Soooooo happy I was!
Thanks for the tweet. Great blog!
I too consume media, essentially television shows. It would not be wrong to say “I am addicted”.
